The FeelBetr Story
Meet Dr. Erin Nance
After a year spent on the patient side of a medical mystery,
orthopedic surgeon Erin Nance found herself more fired up than ever about disparities in medicine.
Her experience laid bare the deep-seated issues that contribute to incomplete care, and, not content to just contribute to the status quo, she began using her platform to bring awareness to misdiagnoses in women.
With a career distinguished by surgical expertise and a compassionate approach to patient care, Dr. Nance has become a vocal advocate for addressing the systemic issues that lead to extreme diagnostic delays and poor health outcomes for women. Her insights into the medical community, combined with her personal experiences and professional pursuits, have shaped her into a formidable ally for those often overlooked by the healthcare system.
Dr. Nance was inspired to create FeelBetr after witnessing firsthand the ways in which social media users were helping others just by sharing their stories and experiences.
The digital health startup is borne of her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to empowering patients, and it embodies her belief in the transformative, affirming power of community and shared experiences.
She believes that the path to improved health often begins with simple validation and that patients themselves commonly hold the most significant insights into their health conditions.
